Welcome to the Math Contest Repository (MCR), owned and operated by Savir Singh. Our platform aims to assist individuals in improving their math skills through a collection of problems and contests. We are committed to fostering a collaborative environment where math enthusiasts can share knowledge and compete in a supportive community.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MCR, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.

3. User Responsibilities

As a user, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information during registration.
• Use the platform in a lawful manner and comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Not engage in any form of harassment, abusive behavior, or disruptive conduct towards other users.
• Respect the intellectual property rights of others and not post content that infringes on those rights.
• Not attempt to manipulate or cheat in any contests hosted on the MCR.
• Report any bugs, issues, or inappropriate content to MCR's support team, via the forms located on our problem pages or through our online communities.
• Understand that MCR may employ automated processes to enhance user engagement and participation, which may involve using your account in ways that align with improving overall platform interaction.
• Acknowledge that your usage patterns may be analyzed to optimize the platform’s features and enhance user experience, including potential adjustments to contests and problem recommendations based on aggregated behavior.
• Recognize that MCR may implement features that periodically evaluate account activity to ensure compliance with community standards, which may lead to temporary adjustments in access or visibility of certain functionalities.
• Be aware that MCR reserves the right to engage in automated data collection techniques to better understand user interests and tailor the content accordingly, while maintaining a commitment to privacy and data protection.

4. User-Submitted Content

You may submit math problems and other content to the MCR. By submitting content, you grant MCR a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, and redistribute your submitted content, with or without a fee, provided we credit your MCR username.

All user-generated content must be original or properly attributed. MCR reserves the right to review, edit, or remove any content that violates these Terms or is deemed inappropriate at our sole discretion.

Content submitted by users may also be made available to third parties for educational purposes, with proper attribution.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on MCR, unless submitted by users, is owned by MCR, the University of Waterloo CEMC, MAA, AoPS, and other respective entities. This includes the database of math problems, graphics, and other resources. Unauthorized use of MCR’s intellectual property is strictly prohibited.

Users are not permitted to download, reproduce, or distribute content from MCR without explicit permission, except where allowed under fair use laws.

6. Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using MCR, you consent to our collection and use of your information as outlined in the Privacy Policy.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time, and we will notify you of any significant changes.

7. Limitation of Liability

MCR is provided on an "as-is" basis. We do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of the problems or the outcomes of contests. Users participate at their own risk, and MCR will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

In no event shall MCR, Savir Singh, or any associated entities be liable for any loss of profits, data, or use, whether in an action of contract, negligence, or other tortious action, arising out of or in connection with the use or inability to use the service.

8. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of MCR shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the applicable arbitration authority. The arbitration will take place in the province where MCR operates, and the language of the arbitration shall be English.

Prior to arbitration, both parties agree to attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.

9. Changes to Terms

MCR reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this page. We encourage users to periodically review these Terms for any updates.

Your continued use of MCR after any modifications signifies your acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to MCR at our discretion, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we believe is harmful to our community or platform.

You may also terminate your account at any time by contacting our support team.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

MCR makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the operation of the service or the information, content, materials, or products included on the site.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MCR disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

MCR may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by MCR. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ontario, Canada, the province in which MCR operates, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
