This Terms of Service agreement outlines the rules and guidelines for using the Math Contest Repository (MCR). By accessing or using our platform, you agree to abide by these terms, which include responsibilities for user behavior, ownership of content, and limitations of liability. Please read this agreement carefully to understand your rights and obligations while using MCR.

Welcome to the Math Contest Repository (MCR), owned and operated by Savir Singh. Our platform aims to assist individuals in improving their math skills through a collection of problems and contests. We are committed to fostering a collaborative environment where math enthusiasts can share knowledge and compete in a supportive community.

You may submit math problems and other content to the MCR. By submitting content, you grant MCR a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, and redistribute your submitted content, with or without a fee, provided we credit your MCR username.

All user-generated content must be original or properly attributed. MCR reserves the right to review, edit, or remove any content that violates these Terms or is deemed inappropriate at our sole discretion.

Content submitted by users may also be made available to third parties for educational purposes, with proper attribution.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on MCR, unless submitted by users, is owned by MCR, the University of Waterloo CEMC, MAA, AoPS, and other respective entities. This includes the database of math problems, graphics, and other resources. Unauthorized use of MCR’s intellectual property is strictly prohibited.

Users are not permitted to download, reproduce, or distribute content from MCR without explicit permission, except where allowed under fair use laws.

Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using MCR, you consent to our collection and use of your information as outlined in the Privacy Policy.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time, and we will notify you of any significant changes.

MCR is provided on an "as-is" basis. We do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of the problems or the outcomes of contests. In no event shall MCR, Savir Singh, or any associated entities be liable for any loss of profits, data, or use, whether in an action of contract, negligence, or other tortious action, arising out of or in connection with the use or inability to use the service.

8. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of MCR shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the applicable arbitration authority. The arbitration will take place in the province where MCR operates, and the language of the arbitration shall be English.

Prior to arbitration, both parties agree to attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.

MCR reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this page. We encourage users to periodically review these Terms for any updates.

Your continued use of MCR after any modifications signifies your acceptance of the revised Terms.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MCR disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ontario, Canada, the province in which MCR operates, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and MCR regarding your use of the platform, superseding any prior agreements between you and MCR.
